ALTERA FINANCE holds a conference on attracting foreign investment through a Vienna Stock Exchange IPO

ALTERA FINANCE Investment Group has held an international conference on the possibilities of capital attraction that Vienna Stock Exchange offers to Ukrainian companies. Austria’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, present at the conference, said: 'It’s not only the attraction of capital that is important for Ukrainian businesses, but the access to internationals market as well. We talk here of practical steps to integrate Ukraine into the EU.And it’s completely in line with the policy of Ukraine-EU relations’.

Unfortunately, capital in Ukraine comes at quite a cost. This forces many enterprises to look West, where cheaper money can be found to finance development.

The conference covered such topics:

• the presentation of Austrian stock market and the role of Vienna SE;
• market segmentation and listing requirements at Vienna SE;
• role of the financial advisor in dealing with Vienna SE;
• forms of business organization recommended for listing at Vienna SE;
• role of the investor and public relations company in preparation for listing.

In addition to ALTERA FINANCE, the conference was co-organized by the National IPO committee, Donetsk chamber of trade and commerce, and Vienna Stock Exchange. The conference was attended by foreigners, such as Austria’s ambassador Marcus Vuketic, Vienna SE president Michael Buhl, and Austrian businessmen.
